As I began assembly my images, I knew I wanted to present something about the images I have taken over the years at botanical gardens. Waterlilies, dahlias, flower groupings and single images of live and dying flowers were all part of my collections. I wanted to continue with the them from last year, that things are not always as they appear. I think this work achieves this as I began to choose images with a brilliant flower set in some degree of business or darkness.
